London olympic stadium

London has been preparing for the 2012 Olympics since the bid was won to host the games in 2005. The construction of the stadium for the games officially began in 2008, although starting the build four years before the games officially started there was fear that the stadium would not be finished on time. Now the games has been and gone the question has been asked what is next for the olympic stadium? Many ideas have been passed through such as keeping it open for other athletes who were not lucky enough to be in the games to train and also for tourists from all over the world to visit the stadium. Another bid for the stadium was for a london football team to take it over and turn it in to their football ground. With the dust begining to settle over the olympics a decision will have to be made soon in regards of the stadium.
